Terms and Conditions
Oktos Consulting Group Effective: February 2026
These terms govern your use of the Oktos Consulting Group website and the Oktos Platform. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Services
Oktos Consulting Group provides business intelligence, operational analysis, and strategic advisory services. Our work includes connecting to your authorized business systems through the Oktos Platform, generating performance reports, identifying operational constraints, and delivering actionable recommendations.
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for your engagement are defined in your individual service agreement or proposal. These terms apply in addition to any engagement-specific agreements.
The Oktos Platform
The Oktos Platform connects to third-party business systems you authorize (including but not limited to Lightspeed POS, Shopify, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Meta) to collect and analyze your operational data.
By connecting a platform, you:
Confirm you have the authority to grant access to that account
Authorize Oktos to access, retrieve, and store data from that account for the purpose of delivering our services
Understand that data accuracy depends on the integrity of the connected source systems
Acknowledge that Oktos reports reflect the data available at the time of generation and are not guaranteed to capture every transaction or event in real time
You may revoke access to any connected platform at any time. Revocation does not affect any obligations under your service agreement.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate business information when requested
Maintaining valid credentials and access to your connected platforms
Ensuring you have the authority to connect business systems owned by or operated on behalf of your organization
Reviewing reports and raising discrepancies in a timely manner
Using our website and platform for lawful purposes only
If access to a connected platform is interrupted, expired, or revoked without notice, report delivery may be delayed until access is restored.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Oktos website, including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and documentation, is the property of Oktos Consulting Group or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without prior written consent.
Analytical frameworks, report templates, scoring methodologies, pattern libraries, and diagnostic tools developed by Oktos are proprietary. Access to these materials through your engagement does not transfer ownership or grant rights to redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer them.
Your business data remains yours. Oktos claims no ownership of the data accessed through your connected platforms. Our reports and analysis are deliverables of our engagement; the underlying data belongs to you.
Reports and Analysis
Reports generated by the Oktos Platform are based on the data available from your connected systems at the time of generation. While we apply rigorous methodology to our analysis:
Reports are advisory in nature and do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice
Business decisions made based on our reports are your responsibility
We do not guarantee specific business outcomes resulting from our recommendations
Data quality issues in source systems (missing records, incorrect entries, sync delays) may affect report accuracy
If you identify errors or inconsistencies in a report, notify us and we will investigate and correct as appropriate.
Confidentiality
We treat all client business data as confidential. We will not disclose your data to any third party except:
With your explicit written consent
As required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
To service providers operating under strict confidentiality agreements who assist in delivering our services
This obligation survives termination of our engagement.
Limitation of Liability
Oktos Consulting Group is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, platform, or services
Loss of revenue, profit, data, or business opportunity resulting from reliance on our reports or recommendations
Service interruptions caused by third-party platform outages, API changes, or connectivity issues beyond our control
Data inaccuracies originating from your connected source systems
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Service Interruption
The Oktos Platform depends on third-party APIs and infrastructure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or timely delivery of reports in the event of:
Third-party API outages or rate limiting
Changes to third-party API terms, endpoints, or authentication requirements
Infrastructure failures beyond our reasonable control
We will notify you of any significant service disruption and work to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement as specified in the applicable service agreement. Upon termination:
Platform connections will be disconnected
Stored credentials and access tokens will be revoked and purged
Business data will be deleted within 30 days of a deletion request
Any outstanding fees for services already rendered remain payable
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Oktos Platform if these terms are violated or if continued service poses a risk to our infrastructure or other clients.
Third-Party Services
Our website and platform interact with third-party services including Lightspeed, Shopify, Google, Klaviyo, and Meta. We are not responsible for:
The availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services
Changes to third-party terms of service or API access that affect our ability to deliver reports
Content or privacy practices of any external websites linked from our site
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions as our services evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
